Animations in schools / wide audience

School environment

I can come into your school/college/highschool to present illumination and organise a workshop

Usually I teach a complete class (around 30 pupils) for 3 hours - you can choose either illumination or calligraphy - I can also combine the two if I have 4 hours with them.

All supplies provided

Each pupil realises its own ornated letters with pigments on paper

Calligraphy

Creation of vegetal ink

Each pupil works on an alphabet, he tries natural feather, calligraphy pen, calame...and produce a bookmark with his/her name

Wide audience workshops

You are organising a medieval event? or an exhibition related to illumination, Middle Ages, books...

I can come and animate two differetn kind of workshops (depending of your type of event) :

Number participants : 16 participants max

Age des participants : from 8 and more

Support : paper 200mg

Techniques  : Painting with pigments and gold paint.

Each participant realises its own ornated letters with pigments on paper

20/25mn : Medieval Colourist workshop (this animation is perfect for big events with a familial public such as medieval reenacment events - then I open the workshop all day long and children/adults come when they want)

Number of participants : 6 participants at a time (I usually works circa 7h so I can meet 90 participants)

Age : from 4 to more

Support : paper 200mg

Techniques abordées : Painting stencils with pigments

Each participant can choose among 3 stencils ans realises it
